Work Done this Week:

  1. Raised mast and verified it to be in good condition, excepting a couple pulleys and wiring to mast head.
  2. Cleaned out all leaves / dirt / etc.
  3. Scraped biggest paint chips away inside.
  4. Removed all vinyl covered plywood.
  5. Dried out interior and closed entry to preved re-wetting.
Info:

The boat is a 1970 Venture 24 foot. The trailer is a 1970 Trri brand. The trailer sucks.
The boat's title has 1980 on it, but I understand that that is impossible. The hull # is 484. It is found under the cockpit on the fiberglass wall that holds the flotation foam in.

Sail Lettering Proposed: The sails are not there at all, so I will need to get new ones. Please recommend if you know which of these is correct for this boat.

Main Items to Fix: Keel, rudder, breasthook, holes in hull, crack near keel, painting, interior.

Know: Main problem to fix here is a cracked keel. Could be as simple as some glasswork, could need keel rebuild. Glass in good shape on hull. Hull needs paint. Interior is in severe disrepair. Fiberglass door is in place. Has all rigging. Rudder will also need work.
